My name is Ione Marcella Lilinoe Chicoine. Born in Honolulu, Oahu, I have lived in Hawai'i my whole life. I have spent my life in the water, whether surfing in the ocean or swimming in the pool, immersing myself in this magical place I call home. Outside of the water, I spend my time at school, painting, and spending time with my loved ones. As a senior at HPA, I was given the opportunity to merge my passions into a meaningful project that has since evolved into a full-fledged brand. Inspired by my deep love for the ocean and life in Hawai‘i, I channeled my creativity into exploring the emotional power of scent. I dedicated countless hours to researching aromachology—the study of how scent influences mood and behavior—and began translating that knowledge into something tangible. This led me to dive into the business side: sourcing ingredients, experimenting with natural elements like flowers and essential oils, and developing the physical product. Through this journey, Lilinoe was born—a brand that reflects both my roots and my creative vision—and I’m proud to now share my scents with the world. This is Lilinoe.
